Instructions to make Khaman Sandwich:
  1. Mix all ingredients of batter, except ENO and make batter
  2. Grease a bowl for steaming & add water in steamer and boil it.
  3. Now add ENO in batter and add little water over it & mix well. When batter rises transfer it into greased bowl and steam for 15 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in a pan for tampering, add asafoetida and mustard seeds. When mustard seeds crackle add green chilies and 1/4 cup water. Now pour tampering on the steamed Khaman.
  5. When cool divide into 8 pieces. Make three layers of each piece and apply green chutney on one layer and red on other and make sandwich. Garnish with chopped green coriander and enjoy on picnic….
