- Prepare pinch cumin powder
- Get 1/4 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder, optional
- Take 1/4 tsp chaat masala
- Prepare 1/4 onion, finely chopped
- Get 1/4 tomato, finely chopped
- Prepare handful sev
- Prepare Few coriander leaves, finely chopped
Instructions to make Kachori Chaat:
- Firstly, in a large kadhai dry roast moong dal and powder them.
- Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, crushed fennel seeds, dry mango powder.
- Also add garam masala, hing, sugar and salt to taste and mix well. Then add water and mix well.
- Firstly, in a large mixing bowl add 1 cup of maida, rava, oil and salt to taste. Then crumble the flour well with oil.
- In addition, add water slowly and knead to form a dough and cover them for 15 mins with a wet cloth.
- Now squeeze a small lemon and flatten it. Now scoop 1 tsp of prepared moong dal stuffing.
- Get the edges together and form a bundle.
- Furthermore, gently press the edges and flatten it and deep fry the kachoris.
- Then press with the spoon to puff up.
- Firstly, place 2 large kachories and use either of the moong dal kachori or matar kachori.
