- Take 1 Cup Yellow Moong Dal
- Get 6 Green Chillies
- Make ready 1 Inch Ginger

- Prepare 1-1/2 tablespoons Corn flour
- Make ready 1/2 Tablespoon Cumin powder (Jeera)
- Prepare 1/2 tablespoon Amchur (Dry Mango Powder)
- Take 1/2 tablespoon Chaat Masala Powder
- Prepare as required Cooking oil
- Prepare 1/2 cup curd
- Take 1/2 cup paneer
- Get as required Sev
- Take 3-4 tbsp tamarind chutney
- Take 1 tbsp green chutney
- Get to taste Salt
Instructions to make Moong Dal Tikki:
- Soak moong dal for a couple of hours.
- Boil some water in pan and add moong dal. Boil moong dal for about five minutes on medium heat
- Take a grinder and add dal, green chillies, coriander, cumin,red chilli and ginger. Grind together to a coarse paste.
- Take a bowl, add grinded dal mixture, chopped onion, grated paneer and mix everything well.
- Add corn flour, cumin powder, chaat masala, raw mango powder and salt to taste, mix well. Make flat round tikkies.
- Heat oil in a pan.make normal size balls from the batter and deep fry them.
- Assemble them in a serving tray
- Put curd on top of it.Then put tamarind chutney and green chutney 1 by 1
- Now put some sev,jeera powder,fresh Coriander,pomegranate seeds
- Serve Moong Dal Tikki along with a cup of masala chai for your Monsoon evenings.
